Pink Ball and Trying to Crawl

We have managed to get to our hands and knees. At this point we either start rocking back and forth or going backwards. Needless to say momma and daddy see a mobile baby in the very near future... fun fun fun.

It takes a lot of effort to push up and hold your body there when you are 6 months old. So, how do we keep the kid motivated?

Parental support is very important. Momma helps Thaxton by showing him the ropes.

From time to time we need to stand and stretch... then we see the pink ball. Few things can motivate a big boy to crawl like his favorite ball. This does worry dad a little but since his favorite activity with the pink ball is practicing headers. I will allow it.

And as Kristi called it... The Money Shot. This may be one of the cutest pictures I have taken of Thaxton. He does love his pink ball.

Sorry it has been a while since posting. I will try to do better. Oh, at our 6 month visit Thaxton weighed 19 lbs and 7 oz. He was 27 inches tall. This placed him firmly in the 75% of babies in size and weight. He is a beast. A beast that likes a pink bouncy ball... but still a beast.
