The Slightly Later Christmas
Sorry to the entire Kell clan for my lack of speed on getting the Kell Christmas posted. We all had a Great time. Thaxton especially enjoyed Christmas Morning...
Christmas at the Kells began as a bit of a blur for Mister Thaxton. You see Momma had par-taken of the homemade egg-nog the night prior. Subsequently, mommas milk was about 180 proof alcohol. This can make for great baby sleeping(hint for new parents) but can lead to hazy mornings for babies. As you can see Thaxton was feeling the effects.
But, like a true champ Thaxton quickly shook the cobwebs and realized he got presents. He really liked his new Radio Flyer wagon. It was his own portable playroom with all of his other toys. It even came with a guard monkey...
After closely examining the items in the wagon Thaxton became curious about those pretty, shiney boxes under the Christmas Tree.
As is a standard practice Thaxton began with the Taste test... he found that brown paper tasted better than blue but red was the best of all. Some people might consider this a barbaric tactic to opening presents but he was having fun.
yum... fiber
Sgt. Uncle Josh Kell recieved his NCO saber. This was a beautiful sword but we could all tell that his favorite part of Christmas was flying Thaxton around the house. The amazing flying baby kept making drool bombing runs on anybody foolish enough to nap in the livingroom.
I must say that Thaxton seemed to enjoy riding around in his new wagon.
Thaxton is so lucky to have so many people that love him. Thank you all for such a wonderful first Christmas.
