Leg Shots and Head Shots

Busy week. Monday Thaxton went to the Doctor. He recieved his very first booster shots. He was good but got a little fussy that night with a small fever and some sore thighs. Luckily he has a very skilled momma who got him all fixed up.
Our angel weighed an amazing 13 lbs 14 oz. This is a lot of growth. He was 22.5 inches long which means he grew two inches last month. Doctors and books say one inch a month is average.

On Tuesday Thaxton went for his baby portraits... boy was that fun. A feeding and three diapers later we had some beautiful pictures. To be honest as the session was ending I was certain we had not gotten a single good shot. Luckily I was wrong.

After the session we went to Loudon to cheer cousin Blaize on in his soccer game. Sorry we were late but you did great.

Momma had to have her country boy look... I call this "Redneck-Chic."

And lastly we had to have the monkey hat. Too cute.
