Fun in Chattanooga

Well over last weekend Thaxton went to see Momma's family in Dunlap, TN. This is just north of Chattanooga for those that do not know. As a fun outing Thaxton, Kristi and Denise (aka: Gunga ) went to the Aquarium. Thaxton had a ball. He got to ride the carousel, which he always enjoys and play in a fountain. Additionally, he got to run through some dark tunnels and say "Fish" a lot.

This bear was card by Rick Jacobs. And while I was not there, due to work, I would guess it did not go high enough or fast enough for my daredevil son. But you sure cannot tell by that smile.

Thaxton loves water. It is fun in all its splashy glory. If you have not seen Josephine's blog there are some great pictures of her in a similar fountain and a short video (since Beth is more high tech than me) that are worth the time to see.

Kristi told me that Thaxton took a few good jets of water to the head and butt. The jets were on timers and would go off just about the time Thaxton would go and check why they were not squirting.

Luckily Momma was there to rescue him anytime he needed saving.

It was a wet and wild day that looked like lots of fun. Daddy really wishes he could have been there.
